Bartenders Express has been Connecticut's full-service party resource since 1999. Professional bartenders, servers and cookstaff for weddings, corporate events and parties at home, anywhere in the state.
Who we are
Twenty-seven years behind Connecticut's bars
Since 1999 we have been the state's single largest full-service party resource, with the equipment, the personnel and the professional contacts to give any function real service and real attention to detail.
We have worked weddings, corporate celebrations and anniversaries, along with family parties and holidays hosted in people's own homes. Every one of them gets the same personal treatment, built around what that particular host actually asked for.
No event request is too big or too small. Call and let us take the planning off your plate from the first conversation to the last glass cleared.
What we do
One call covers the whole bar
Staff, kit, planning and the vendors around it.
Bartenders
Experienced, personable bartenders who set up well before your guests arrive, pour with correct portions, keep the bar tidy all night and help clean up at the end. They arrive with the full kit: shakers, strainers, pourers, openers, boards and towels.
Waitstaff & cookstaff
Servers to handle dinner and buffet setup, passed plates, guest requests, clearing and cleanup, plus cookstaff when the kitchen needs hands. Barbacks are available for larger parties so service never breaks.
Party planning & rentals
Tables, chairs, linens, glassware, catering, flowers, music, a justice of the peace, a hall. We have been doing this in Connecticut long enough to know who is good, and we will make the introductions.
Why hire a bartender
It is not really about the drinks
- You greet your guests instead of pouring for them, all night.
- Drinks are made properly and consistently, including the signature ones.
- Correct pours mean far less liquor consumed, which usually pays for the bartender.
- We will tell you what to buy and how much, based on your guests, before you shop.
- No self-serve bar means nobody over-serves themselves.
- Someone who is not you handles cutting a guest off, and handles anyone underage.
- Empty glasses and bottles never pile up, and the bar is broken down at the end.
Our bartenders and servers carry general liability and liquor liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance is available on request.
